We are looking to recruit a Head of Human Resource on behalf of an international school based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania with the following qualifications;
Qualifications:
-An excellent academic record, preferably a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management
– A Master’s Degree in professional courses in the relevant field is a plus or any other equivalent qualification from an accredited university.
– Minimum of 10years’ experience in Human Resources management, demonstrating an understanding of relevant people management, client handling, corporate policies and procedures within the education sector.
Responsibilities:
– Promoting and implementing human resource values by planning and managing human resources programs; directing staff (preferably a private education sector or private organization).
– Managing human resources operations by recruiting, deal with grievances and violations invoking disciplinary action when required selecting, orienting, training, coaching, counseling, planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing staff job contributions; maintaining compensation; determining production, productivity, quality, and customer-service strategies; designing systems; accumulating resources; resolving problems; implementing change.
– Implementation of human resources strategies by establishing department accountabilities, including talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, compensation, health and welfare benefits, training and development, records management, safety and health, succession planning, employee relations and retention, compliance, and labor relations.
– Accomplishing special project results by identifying and clarifying issues and priorities; communicating and coordinating requirements; expediting fulfillment; evaluating milestone accomplishments; evaluating optional courses of action; changing assumptions and direction.
